The Zoning Board of Appeals is a 3 member board that is appointed by the Village Board. The Board meets on an as required basis. The duties are to interpret the Village Zoning codes upon appeals and to approve variances from the strict application of the Village Zoning code. 

A few examples of the types of variances are:

• Setbacks for new buildings
• Setbacks for new homes
• Setbacks for new additions
• Setbacks for new sheds
• Fence heights and locations
